Governor Quinn Announces Workers' Compensation Rate Reductions

The National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI) filed for an 5.5% decrease in voluntary advisory insurance rates, effective January 1, 2015.
This is the third decrease in three years. Advisory rates have dropped over 18% since the 2011 reforms. Governor Quinn issued this announcement in a press release on July 30, 2014. You can read the full text of the release here.
