New Benefit Rates Posted

The Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission recently posted the Statewide Average Weekly Wage for the period of July 15, 2014 to January 15, 2015 as $1,005.80.
Accordingly, the maximum rate for death, permanent total disability and permanent partial disability benefits in cases involving amputation or enucleation of the eye is now $1,341.07 and the minimum rate is $502.80. The maximum rate for temporary total disability benefits is $1,341.07.
Please note that the maximum permanent partial disability rate in cases that do not involve amputation or enucleation of the eye remains at $721.66. The rate for the period of July 1, 2014 to June 30, 2015 will be posted in January, 2015.
