to be Considered by Illinois' House: May 21, 2015

It has been widely reported that Speaker Madigan and the Illinois House of Representatives will call legislation to amend to the Illinois Workers' Compensation Act on Thursday, May 21, 2015. It is believed that the amendments will include items listed in Governor Rauner's Turn Around Agenda:
Ø Heightening the causation standard;
Ø Allowing AMA Guides to be the sole determinant of PPD;
Ø Redefining "traveling employee" and "arising out of;"
Ø Further reduction in the medical fee schedule.
